premise and disclaimer

This is a supernatural gpsl that takes place in New Jersey. While we will take some liberties please be mindful that this is present day and that things taking place in the real world are currently taking place in game. Not all characters are supernatural and as always there will be characters that do not get along – this happens and we hope that you are all mature enough not to cross the ooc/ic line. We will not tolerate bullying ooc (this will happen ic at times because of the nature of the game). We also will not tolerate plagiarism, we know it is the sincerest form of flattery but we expect original content here. There will be dark and mature themes in this game. If you cannot handle these then we prefer that you not join this community. Blood, death and mayhem will prevail. The general rules of roleplay apply here.

characters

Characters may be from any of the approved species and then some. That means that if you want to bring in a species that is not listed we welcome you to do so but we ask that you write up the information on this species and link us to where you have gained the information about the lore. We want to keep as close to true lore as humanly possible. We ask you not to bring in characters for the sole purpose of being destroyed (turned, eaten, sacrificed, etc), however if you become tired of your character and would like to have their removal made into a death then we ask you to let us know in the dropbox and we will include it into a plot post. Biblical demons and angels are welcome but we would like to steer clear of going hog wild with biblical speak because it can become daunting and borderline overzealous. We also feel that we should make it clear that while you are welcome to base your character off of known entities (ie Elizabeth Bathory, Tituba, etc) that you do not actually pick up them – but we will allow witches to bring in the reincarnation of “known” witches. You are allowed to have up to eight (8) abilities aside from the known abilities of said species except in the case of a human. Essentially were are allowing any and all supernatural species and humans. We arent going to be police you completely we sought out to create a fun atmosphere for you to tickle your creative fancy PBs chosen should be 18+, have more than just a social media presence (aka they can be found via a quick google search). We do allow insta models, suicide girls, lesser known celebs, and the like. We also ask that the PB be alive - We know that it seems silly but we know this will come up and we want to cover our bases.

applying

Journals should be ooc and related to who or what the character is. Who includes their personality so if it’s something that they are known to love you may make their journal reflect that (~soda, ~blood, ~vaping). You do not need to have a discord but a discord chat room is available to all to enjoy. We prefer that it not be an ic account because that can become overwhelming to have multiple discord accounts. We do require you to link us to a cdj or example journal for the purpose of letting us know who else you play. Transparency is the key! This not only allows us to keep track of how many characters youre playing but it allows us to make sure you haven’t taken on multiple roles in the same species. We have a character limit of four (4) but reserve the right to refuse alternative characters if you are not active on the one(s) in play. When it comes to first adds we will allow up to the four (4) to apply at once but after first adds we will be revoking that and ask that you wait an entire full activity cycle before applying another character. We do not require an in-depth biography. We would prefer you to have some information about the background of your character because that is the fun in creating a supermatural. But all that we require are the basic information such as name, age (or rough estimate), etc and a paragraph of a background .

activity

We are a thread heavy and plot driven gpsl. We require you to participate in the plot threads as well as writing your own threads that will be public. While we do not want to encourage an overabundance of smut scenes on the friends page we will not stop you from doing so. There will be at the very least two plot threads per month and you are required to tag yourself in the one(s) that you participate in. You are responsible for making sure you do this or you will be removed regardless if you met activity requirements. If you are unsure of how to tag yourself let us know and we will help you. We are mods, not ruthless tyrants. We want you to be active and stay in game. To be marked as active you must participate on one of the plot threads with at least a three (3) comment thread. Also you will need one non-plot post thread or a written private or public narrative or entry. You will also need to have your friends list up to date and show significant activity of commenting around on the friends page. Instagram, lyric and other social media type posts do not count as activity but you are more than welcome to do them.
